Alert!
If you are seeing this alert, after allowing several seconds for the page to
load (there are several large images that don't load quickly), it may be because Javascript is not
working in this browser. Usually, the reasons that Javascript is
not working is either,
- the browser doesn't support Javascript, or
- use of Javascript is turned off (disabled).
The solution to the problem in each case is simple. Either obtain
and use a browser that supports Javascript (Firefox is
recommended), or enable it (turn it on). In Firefox, Javascript
is enabled in the Tools-> Options window-> Content window's
checkbox.
A lot of work went into preparing this web site and this web

The Crosstown Maps page displays the pages from the
Crosstown Maps booklet prepared by Dick Janson and Dave Mansfield.
The
booklet has an index to each pair of pages displayed as you
browse the book. It maps the Lansing area in 2 rows of 8 segments
numbered 1,3,5,7 in the northern row; and 2,4,6,8 in the southern
row.
The enlarged images are in a sequence from left to right in
four rows. In other words, the sequence is 1a, 3a, 5a, 7a, 1b,
3b, and so on.
To print the maps, download the PDF versions below.
Numbered notes are below also.
Prior to 2015, the maps were prepared by Dick Janson and Joe Adams.
